The House of Katra was born in December 2024 not from ambition, but from a calling. After two years of quiet research, artistic study, and emotional exploration, Katra Fragrance emerged as a response to a world that had forgotten the sacred power of scent. Here, fragrance is never an accessory. It is an offering.

The name Katra, meaning “fragment” in several Indian languages, speaks to the heart of what we do. Each perfume is a sacred shard of something vast  a moment in time, a lost empire, a whisper of myth carried on the skin.

At Katra, we do not create perfumes  we compose offerings. Every scent begins with a painting: a portal into forgotten beauty. Around it, we build fragrances using mythic ingredients, slow hands, and deep emotion. The result is art you can wear, and story you can breathe.

Born of Indian soul, Katra draws from a legacy where scent has always been sacred  where oud was offered to temples, and attar was pressed into rituals. We reimagine that legacy through modern fragrances that are eternal in feeling.
